Dr Jason Tsang was educated at Cambridge University and St George's, University of London. He specialised in Medical Psychotherapy. He trained at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust and in a busy inner city service in St Pancras. Due to his interest in complex presentations within the context of legal frameworks, he is currently undertaking further specialist training in forensic psychiatry.
Dr Tsang's psychiatric expertise allows him to provide thorough psychiatric assessments, diagnoses and treatment plans. He works collaboratively with patients to hold in mind formulations that include systemic, cultural and developmental perspectives. This assists him to develop therapeutic rapport and to offer individualised care.
In addition to his clinical work Dr Tsang is a medical educator. He holds a Masters in Medical Education and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. For several years he contributed as a tutor to the University of Dundee's Centre for Medical Education.
Dr Tsang's GMC (General Medical Council) registration is 7134566 and he is is on the GMC specialist register for Medical Psychotherapy. Dr Tsang is also a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych).
