Dr Lisa Burke is a highly experienced Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist who has worked for over 20 years at the prestigious South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM). She has 17 years’ experience as a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in Tier 3 NHS CAMHS services and works in a neurodevelopmental service specialising in ADHD, Autism and Intellectual Disability and their coexisting mental health and behavioural conditions.
Dr Burke has also worked alongside her colleagues Dr Pretesh Shah, Dr Nicoletta Adamo and Dr Moghraby both here at The Giaroli Centre, as well as in Dr Burke's NHS role.
Dr Burke is actively involved in postgraduate and undergraduate education. She teaches Medical Students, Psychiatrists, M.Sc. students, General Practitioners, Paediatricians, and members of the CAMHS multidisciplinary team on pertinent topics related to Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

She is a clinical and educational supervisor to psychiatrists in training and is a Lecturer at Kingston University Mental Health and Brain Function second year psychology students
Dr Burke collaborates in a multi-disciplinary setting to deliver either the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (2nd edition) (ADOS-2) or the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R) for detailed diagnoses of Autism where required.
Dr Burke’s General Medical Council (GMC) registration is 4552374 and she is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych).
