Dr Omer Moghraby is a highly experienced Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist whom is also a Lead Clinician at the prestigious South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM), a Tier 3 NHS CAMHS service where he leads the neurodevelopmental service (specialising in ADHD and Autism) and crisis team.

 

Whilst he treats children with a range of conditions, he is particularly specialised in neurodevelopmental conditions (ADHD and Autism) and their associated behaviours. Dr Moghraby has also worked alongside Dr Giulia Spada, Dr Pretesh Shah and Dr Nicoletta Adamo both here at The Giaroli Centre, as well as in his NHS role.

 

Dr Moghraby is actively involved in post graduate and undergraduate education and teaching at the Maudsley Hospital King’s College London. He has also worked at other world leading training centres in London such as the Bethlem Royal Hospital, and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. He also has a wealth of experience in medico-legal cases, particularly family court hearings, custody/divorce, and related assessments.

Dr Moghraby collaborates in a multi-disciplinary setting to deliver either the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (2nd edition) (ADOS-2) or the Developmental, Dimensional & Diagnostic Interview (3di) as pioneered by the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, for detailed diagnoses of Autism where required.
